Tuesday Seafront Training 7/11/23
The Tuesday sees the opening of the Icescape rink at the Tropicana until January 24. There are some special displays by UK figure skaters and more to open the rink,
so, we expect many visitors and cars to be on the front so please allow yourself more time to park. We will still meet at the shelter between the Trop and Revo at 6.50 but likely use the South end of the prom and other areas for our sessions.
Prom run 9/11/23.
The next event of the 23/24 series is 9/11/23. Do not forget there will be no entry on the night with entries for the 9/11 race closing at 9.00pm on Tuesday the 7th of Nov.
With Icescape open we will have to use the 3-lap course for the November and December races. As the Icescape has not been held since 2019 many of you may not have experienced this course. We us the same start and finish point as usual but start by running towards the pier. We turn at Knightstone as usual and then before we pass the Tropicana (by Revo) on the return therefore keeping the entry and exit from the Trop clear in case of medical emergencies in the Icescape (which have happened in the past).
