Off-Road race results

Not a race as such but a challenge saw Bex Vaughan and Lee Francis take part in a new event on Friday the EFM (Escape from Meriden). Participants leave Meriden at midnight on Friday and have 24 hours to see how far away they can get. It is self-navigation and self-supported with runners planning a route and lodging a target with organisers before starting. Bex and Lee were aiming for Cheltenham or Bristol and finished running at 2.36pm on Saturday afternoon after having completed 50 miles and over 2100ft of climb. You can find a more detailed report form Bex on WAC social fb. The furthest distance was 104 miles completed in 20 hours.
