Information and help needed

Thursday saw the first races of the 24/25 Prom series. Huge thanks to RDs Sheryl and Louise for making it such a successful first event.

We had a new HQ location, an increase in runners for the 5-mile race and a re-launched junior race which had a record entry of over 100 4 to 16-year-olds, all of whom needed to get their numbers.

Thanks to everybody for your help in organising and marshalling in whatever capacity, as always without you we could not hold the races.

Prom Team entries

The next prom run takes place on the 24/10 and Nia Davies needs to confirm the Weston teams before the start of the October race. If you wish to be involved in a team and have not let Nia know via fb that you wish to be in a team, please post on the recent fb reminder or drop her a mail.

Prom Run, Xmas Cracker and Muddle are open for entries

The Xmas Cracker and the Mendip Muddle are open for entry on the Race Nation website or via the WestonAC website.

We will be running our Xmas Cracker couch to 10k beginners’ group for the 11th year running starting in October. Paul Baker will be organising the program, so if you or any friends or family want to start running, return to running after a break or injury, or want help to motivate you then this is the group you/they need. Meetings on Monday nights and Saturday mornings are supported by our Leaders and club members who will be there to help you.
