WAC 2024 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
For the Long Road and Off-Road categories competitors must complete a minimum of 5 of the 8 races and for the Short Road category a minimum of 6 of the 10 races. If a competitor completes more than the minimum required number of races for the category only the best 5 or 6 scores will count. For the Overall Championship competitors need to complete a minimum of 12 races with the best 12 scores from any distance or terrain counting.
Categories are Senior, v40, v50, v60, and v70
Age category is determined by the competitors age on 1/1/24
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category for the overall championship and 1st in age-category for the sub-championships.
Replacement races will not be added for any cancelled races
Scoring – points will be allocated on a gender basis in each race depending on a competitors position within the Weston AC runners results. They will be allocated using the cross country scoring method with the first Weston man and first Weston lady receiving 1 point, the second man and lady 2 points etc. The winners will be the competitors with the lowest number of points over the 5, 6 or 12 counting races depending on category.
