Unfortunately, as a club, we have had to take the decision to cancel the Nov 3rd and Nov 17th Prom runs.
It was announced on Thursday 27th October that agreement had been reached to extend the opening of the SEE MONSTER until Sunday 20th November. The intention will be that the Monster is open from 9.00am until 9.00pm weather permitting during that period. Having considered any alternatives including trying to get it closed early on Prom run days 3rd and 17th we do not feel that we can declare that the promenade will be virtually clear of pedestrians allowing us to put on a safe race for runners and other promenade users.
We will now look at how we can accommodate the 2 races during the remainder of the 22/23 series.
